Chantenay Red Cored

60-75 days. Wide shouldered short tapered roots are 5-6” long x 2.5” in diameter. Abundant erect tops grow up to 20” tall. Fine-grained interior is deep red-orange to the center. A good producer well adapted to heavier soils.

Chantenay Royal

Excellent carrot for heavy soils, very strong tops. Red orange flesh 6-7 x 2-3 inch stamp rooted, cylindrical carrot, great for market or home garden. Very heavy producer. 62-73 days

Danvers

Uniform 6 to 8 inch long by 2 to 2-1/2 inch wide carrots. Dark bright-orange flesh, nearly core-less. Best selling crop variety for home and market, stores well. Sweet and tender.

Gold King

Lightly cylindrical carrot 6-7 x 2.5. Red orange flesh. Does well in heavy soil. Strong 16-18 inch tops. Good for market and home garden.

Imperator 58

75-77 days. Uniform dark-orange high quality slightly tapered roots averages 10-12” long x 1.5” in diameter with tender crisp coreless flesh. Strong 13-20” tops. Does best in deep loamy soil.

Kuroda Shinn

Cylindrical 7.5 x 9 inch carrot. Stump rooted, flesh is red orange softer than Chantenay. Good for home garden and excellent as juicer. Does well in wide variety of soils. Very good storage carrot. 68-74 days.

Nantes Scarlet

65-74 days. Uniform cylindrical roots average 7” long x 1.3” in diameter. Short 10-12” tops. Bright red-orange fine-grained brittle flesh is nearly coreless with a fine very sweet flavor. Colors up early for baby carrots.

Nantes

Nantes Carrot, great fresh or for canning. The sweetest and most tender carrot. The flesh is red orange and very sweet. Does not store well.
