Open pollinated increase of UC 157 F-1. This variety will exhibit variability typical of an F-2 generation which will result in an overall lower yield and quality plus less tolerance to Rust and Fusarium. Seed is not tested for Asparagus Latent Virus 2.

Developed at the University of California at Riverside in 1978 this variety    is the most widely planted fresh market variety in the world. It produces   early all-green spears with tight tapering heads and can be harvested longer in high temperatures than other varieties. Tolerant to Rust and Fusarium and free of Asparagus Latent Virus 2.
